Continuous Deionization (CDI/EDI)
Continuous electrodeionization is typically used to polish RO product water for power, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, food and beverage, and general industrial applications. This technology can replace traditional chemical regenerated ion exchange demineralizer polishers. Using electrical power instead of chemicals CEDI provides a safe, environmentally friendly method of producing high purity water up to 18.2 megohms.
Skid mounted units are available complete with piping, power supply, controls, sample valves and cleaning connections. These units can be validated for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications.
